Pinot Bianco is a varietal that has its origins in the Loire Valley of central France. In France it is also commonly referred to as Chenin Blanc or Pineau. The fruit for this wine was sourced from 20-year-old vines from the Curtis Vineyards near Foxen Canyon Rd. The juice was fermented in stainless steel and given no oak aging influence at all. The wine shows off wonderful acidity which is typical of cool climate growing conditions. The nose exhibits some light aromatic floral tones and the flavors of bright citrus fruits with a hint of honey.
Pair it with: Light salads, grilled fish and fresh lobster (a match made in heaven)
