Now this is something slightly different and very European. This wine was produced from Sangiovese grapes harvested from the White Hawk vineyards in Los Alamos. The skins were kept on the juice overnight, cold fermented with the wine retaining almost 3% residual sugars. While not being a true dessert wine, we are sure you will enjoy this wine on a warm afternoon while you imagine you are sitting in a small Provence village. We can only dream. It has subtle berry flavors and a rich clean finish. This wine is perfect with fruit, cheese and ice cream based desserts.
